Kane achieves his century goal for Bayern Munich
Harry Kane has declared that his desire in coming back to the Premier League has lessened and he is prepared to discuss a new agreement with Bayern Munich.
The accomplished striker is currently halfway through the four-year agreement he signed when transferring to from Tottenham Hotspur for 86.4 million pounds in the transfer window of 2023.
The 32-year-old forward has netted an outstanding 103 goals in 106 appearances for the German side, playing a key role in them claim the 2024-25 Bundesliga title - which was the maiden important achievement of his distinguished career.
Tottenham coach Thomas Frank has previously mentioned that he would like to see Kane come back to England, where he requires 48 goals to overtake Alan Shearer's record Premier League scoring milestone of 260.
However, the England leader has now suggested that he is no longer as keen about going back home as he earlier was, and would certainly think about lengthening his stay in Bavaria.
"In terms of remaining longer, I could absolutely see that," he commented.
"I mentioned openly a couple of weeks ago that I have not had those conversations with Bayern yet, but if they were to come up I would be prepared to talk and have an honest conversation.
"Obviously it hinges on how the next year or so unfolds and what we attain together. Right now, I would say we are in a fantastic moment and I am not considering about anything else.
"In terms of the Premier League, I don't know. If you had questioned me when I first left to go to Bayern, I would have said for sure I would come back.
"Now I have been there a couple of years I would perhaps say that has gone down a little bit, but I wouldn't say I would never go back.
"What I have learned in my career is that different options and different timings happen and things align. Going back to my first point with Bayern right now I am totally all in with Bayern."
Milestone Achievements and Future Ambitions
Kane is the historic top marksman for both Tottenham and England and lately became the quickest player this century to achieve 100 goals for a club playing in one of Europe's top five competitions, reaching the landmark in just 104 games for Bayern.
However, a honor had escaped him until he lifted the German title last season.
Kane reveals that he was not sure how he would respond after breaking his trophy wait, but now feels it has made him hungry for more success.
"When you win a title like I did last year, maybe it could be tempting to go the other way and be like, 'OK I've done what I wanted to achieve'," he explained.
"But it's given me more inspiration to do more and be better. I think I've shown that this year.
"I was curious in how I would feel after winning a trophy. Obviously there's still a lot more I want to attain in terms of other trophies and bigger trophies for sure.
"But I think it was always just, in my head, what I was going to feel like after I did achieve winning my first one.
"But for sure, I challenged myself the other way in terms of being even better, maintaining even cleaner, doing more gym. Just trying to get the most out of what I've got right now."
