Fantastic $30 Cartography Humble Bundle Is a Online Gaming GM's Dream
After a short availability back in April, the Map Making Mega Bundle is back with an encore available until Dec. 2. Hailed as an extensive collection of mapping tools created by a specialized software company over the years, the complete package carries a value of more than thirteen hundred dollars. Additionally, there exist three different bundles offered in this deal.
The Main Attraction
The big draw is certainly permanent access to the CC3+ software, a professional-grade cartography program which enables users to create everything from epic fantasy landscapes, detailed regional charts, city maps, and, perhaps most importantly, dungeon and tabletop battle maps.

Bundle Tiers
Basic Package
The cheapest bundle tier, at a minimum cost of $1, features merely four of the 39 total items: Symbol Set 1: Fantasy Overland, Monster Token Pack 1, Castle Source Maps, Urban Source Maps. This package suits cartographers who already have CC3+, but it does offer fresh fantasy design elements for landscape mapping, over seven hundred fifty creature tokens for use in virtual tabletops, more than two dozen aerial castle designs with 470 associated map tokens, eight complete urban centers, and more than 70 urban floorplans.
Mid-Range Option
The eight-item bundle starting at fifteen dollars offers enhanced value by adding in permanent CC3+ access, Cartographer's Annual Vol 1, Ultimate Mapping Guidebook, and Symbol Set 6: Isometric Cities. The Annual represents the annual collection from ProFantasy's ongoing subscription program which includes a variety CC3+ add-ons including map packs and various other tools. Isometric Cities lets you present urban areas in 3D perspective with isometric views from all sides. And the Tome of Ultimate Mapping is a 760-page for beginners and "power users" alike, full of tips and tutorials for the map-making process.

All 17 volumes from the Annual series are included here, alongside a slew of other resource and asset packs enabling creators to design entire planets or galaxies, or focus exclusively on classic fantasy realm creation: combat arenas, dungeons, cities, and land masses from almost any perspective. Users can also create character portraits. At thirty versus fifteen dollars, the full bundle is so worth it, especially for cartographers who have only the annual CC3+ license and want to upgrade to lifetime. But it's obviously more advantageous for cartography beginners since it includes introductory guides to facilitate learning. The one caveat here though the purchase is available on any platform, the software is only usable on Windows.
Charitable Component
As with other Humble Bundles, a portion of each sale goes to benefit a nonprofit. For this one, the beneficiary is Save the Children, established in 1919 by Eglantyne Jebb dedicated to enhancing children's welfare globally through education, health care, and emergency relief. There's also an "Adjust Donation" drop-down immediately below, allowing you to adjust how much of your donation allocated between the platform, developer, and charity.
